It has just occurred to me that we are more than halfway through December, but I’ve not done a holiday movie review or other kind of post.
What I thought I would do instead is a round of roundups—in this case, rather than focus on a holiday theme, I searched for what I would call “comfort movies”. The kind of movie that provides escape from one’s daily travails in a manner so delightful, engaging, or uplifting, that you want to experience it again and again.
Here’s what I came up with in a quick online search:

PS: Other than the ones I’ve posted for the holidays before, I’d include Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, The Cheap Detective, A Night at the Opera, Pulp Fiction, and The Big Lebowski! 🙂 And that’s just to start!
