‘These Girls Are Fools’ (1950) (A Short Film)

Hi there! πŸ™‚ We’re back!

This week’s special feature is a short film. Short is good. Short is fun. But, mostly, short is short. πŸ™‚

On that note, here’s These Girls Are Fools from 1950.

And a lesson for us all! πŸ™‚

  1. Oh my. Who produced this? Joseph McCarthy? Or was he the guy with the whip, the shady “Mr. Owen”? I’m agog.

“Now just lie down and cover yourself with hay.” I have GOT to use that line in a future story.

Most importantly, the opening bit with the nude swimming reminded me of the Hedy Lamarr film that made her hugely famous, but I can’t recall the name of said (German? Austrian?) movie. It’s a terrible feeling when my once-razor-sharp trivia skills fail me. Not as terrible, apparently, as having to put cardboard in your shoes, but still…. πŸ˜‰
